Volunteers needed for Marine Resources Committee

Island County is looking for volunteers to serve on the Island County Marine Resources Committee.

Island County is looking for volunteers to serve on the Island County Marine Resources Committee.

One position on the advisory committee is vacant, and seven other seats are held by members with terms that are expiring at the end of this year.

While some members may apply for reappointment, applicants are needed for the empty post and for any additional appointments that may be necessary.

The 16-member committee meets on the first and third Tuesday afternoons of each month in Coupeville, and members serve a three-year term. More information on the MRC can be found at www.islandcountymrc.org.
