Langley waterfront property owners and city officials will meet later this month to discuss future development possibilities on Wharf Street and north of First Street.

The city sent out invitations earlier this week for the private meeting.

The talks are intended to map out what the property owners need and want for their land, while preserving Seawall Park for the public and developing a design approach that fits the scale and size of Langley.

The meetings will be held on May 22 with Wharf Street property owners and on May 29 with First Street property owners.

The meetings aren’t public, but property owners — including the Port of South Whidbey officials — are invited.
