Bonnie Bell Miller: July 25, 1924 – May 30, 2019

It is with love and sadness that we say goodbye to Bonnie Miller; a special mom, a beloved aunt and a cherished grandmother to many.

Bonnie was one of the original Bells for whom Bell’s Beach was named. She was born in Seattle, Wash. and graduated from Roosevelt High School. Her favorite place in the whole world was the family beach on Whidbey Island, where she and her four sisters and brother grew up, lived and raised a generation of 17 cousins. So many wonderful memories!

Bonnie is survived by her three children, Jennifer Johnston (Bill Plummer), Hal Cook (Patsy) and Jeff Cook (Wendy), children from her first marriage to Harold Cook.

She later married Alfred Miller and gained three more “children” to add to her family of love: Fred Miller (Judy), Becky Esvelt (Bob) and Gary Miller (Dana).

Bonnie was an involved and loving grandmother to numerous grandchildren and was called “Grandma Bonnie” by any other child that needed a grandma’s hug or one of her oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.

Bonnie was a woman of moral strength, kindness and unconditional love.

Please join family and friends who will celebrate her life at a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Aug. 31, 2019, Trinity Lutheran Church, Freeland, Wash.

Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbeymemorial.com
