Budd Everett Bryner

Budd Everett Bryner, 54, long-time South Whidbey resident and character extraordinaire, died Sept. 17, 2002, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The last few years of his life were spent in enjoyment living in the Virgin Islands. Many lives were touched by his kindness, creative nature and sense of humor. Loved by many, he will be greatly missed.

He greatly loved his family and friends. He is survived by a daughter and son, Heidi and Jake Call, three siblings, a grandson and numerous friends the world over.

A remembrance and celebration of his life will be held Oct. 5 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the South Whidbey American Legion Hall. There will be a potluck. Bring musical instruments and stories to share.
