Eleanor Janes EideMiller

Eleanor Janes EideMiller was born to Nels and Jean Tjosevig in Kennecott, Alaska.

Her early childhood was spent between McCarthy, Alaska and the mining camp of Green Butte in the Wrangell Mountains.

When her father retired, they moved to Seattle but Alaska was always in her heart. Eleanor was married in Alaska to Arthur B. Janes and they became the parents of their sons, Robert, Steven and Kurt Janes. One of her greatest joys was introducing her childhood area of McCarthy, Alaska to her grandchildren.

Mom died Wednesday, August 26 at the age of 93.
