Geraldine ‘Jerri’ Berry: April 6, 1938 – Jan. 31, 2017

Geraldine “Jerri” Berry, age 78, of Langley, passed away on Jan. 31, 2017 in Oak Harbor. Jerri was born on April 6, 1938, in Alamosa, Colo., the daughter of Augustine and Mary Duran.

She was the devoted wife of Alan D. Berry. Jerri and Alan were married in 1966 in Denver, Colo., and they celebrated 50 years of marriage together.

Jerri spent her time living on two coasts and on two islands — Whidbey Island and Marco Island, Fla.

She is survived by her husband Alan of Oak Harbor, her brother Edward Duran of San Clemente, Calif., and her sister Jacqueline Lucero of Denver.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Dale and Dean. She is also survived by many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews who will miss her greatly.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be a private, graveside service.
