Jeffrey Lee Proctor

Jeffrey Lee Proctor passed peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 29, 2015. Jeff was born May 29, 1962 in Pullman, Wash.

His career as master mechanic started at Gardner Boat in Ballard. He was a long-term resident of Whidbey Island where he worked for Penn Cove Shellfish and enjoyed helping farmers on the island.

Jeff is survived by his wife Linda Proctor, his step-daughter Mikayla Schumacher, his parents Barbara and John Thompson and Rod Proctor, and his brother David Thompson.

Jeff was an avid ham radio operator and member of Holmes Harbor and Central Whidbey gun clubs.

A memorial service for Jeff will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Calvary Chapel at 3821 French Road, Clinton WA 98236. The service will be followed by a potluck celebration of his life in the chapel’s fellowship hall.

Friends and family are requested to bring pictures, mementos and stories about Jeff to the service to share.

Jeff’s death was sudden and unexpected. If you would like to help his wife in lieu of sending flowers, donations will be accepted at the service or through the church with a note directing funds to Jeff in care of Cindy at Calvary Chapel.
