Judith Suzanne Leigh (Pitman)

Judith Suzanne Leigh (Pitman) left her family to be with Jesus on June 25, after a long battle with breast cancer.

She was born in Southern California on February 5, 1943, to Clyde Allard Needham and Geraldine Vivian (Clifton) Needham.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim of Reno, Nev. Suzanne left behind her husband, Winston Leigh, former husband, Andre Pitman, three daughters, Kelly Almberg of Richland, Wash., Leslie Engelson of Murray, Ken. and Andrea Jill (Pitman) Davis of Saint Louis, Miss. She has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Suzanne was a vibrant, intelligent woman who loved riding horses, gardening and reading. She instilled a love of those hobbies in her children and grandchildren. She lived on South Whidbey from 1981-2000 and during that time was active in 4-H, Pony Club and Master Gardening and had her own landscaping business. Suzanne will be missed tremendously. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. July 1 at the New Life Chapel in Everett.
