Marlene Dorothy Will

Longtime resident of the beloved “Red Door Farm,” Marlene Dorothy Will peacefully passed away July 11, 2016, in Rochester, N.Y. She was 85 years old.

She had been living with her oldest daughter, Diana, for almost two years as her health declined.

Marlene was born in West Chester, Penn., on March 2, 1931. Her proud parents were John Frederick Dunlop Jr. and Florence Marie Paiement. She was married to Eric Will Jr. in March 1953 and they were later joined by three children.

In February 2007, Eric preceded Marlene in death.

She is survived by her three children, Donald Will, Diana Will Hubner and Penny Will Brenden; son-in-law Kent Brenden; and seven grandchildren.

Marlene enjoyed her work as a tax accountant with GoodWill Taxes.

She had a variety of interests that varied from playing bridge to supporting local events. She always had a passion for her family, learning new things and gardening.

Marlene’s memorial service will be held Sept. 5, 2016, in Colorado, at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Marlene’s favorite local farming/gardening group, South Whidbey Tilth, P.O. Box 252, Langley, WA 98260.
