Ruth L. Jacobson

Ruth L. Jacobson was granted her Angel Wings on October 11, 2016 at home surrounded by loving family. Ruth was born on November 5, 1921 in Wheelock, North Dakota to Carl and Margaret Melland.

Ruth had eight siblings. She married the love of her lifetime, Wilbert L Jacobson, in 1940 and together they raised five children: Janet (Harland Kostek), Karen (Ron Zustiak), Peggy (Daryl Greenhalgh), Greg Jacobson (Kathy) and Vickie (John McCreless). Ruth was blessed with 22 grand children, 40 great grand children and 17 great great grand children.

Ruth was a cosmetologist for many years. She taught at the Lynnwood Beauty School before owning shops in Arlington, WA and on Whidbey Island, WA. She had a love for basketball and baseball and spent countless hours watching the horse arena full of kids and horses.

Ruth loved to travel in the car: long trips and short trips, but trips to get ice cream were her favorite.
