Terry Lee Six

Terry Lee Six died at Providence Regional Medical Center Nov. 1, 2014, in Everett, Wash., due to complications of lung cancer. He was 63.

Terry was born Aug. 18, 1951, in Waynesburg, Pa., to his parents, Charles and Sharon Six.

He graduated from Glacier High School in SeaTac, Wash., in 1969 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 until 1971. He married his high school sweetheart, Gayle Dronen, in 1987. The Sixes lived in Burien, Renton and Langley, Wash., where Terry worked as an inspector and Gayle an expeditor for Boeing. He retired in 2010 and dedicated his remaining time to traveling and enjoying time with his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his wife, Gayle Six, of Langley; his mother, Sharon Six, of Selah, Wash.; his brother, Bob Six, of Spokane, Wash.; his daughter, Jasmine Ambrose, of Langley; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Julie Ambrose, of Seattle; and two grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles; his sister, Cindy McInnis; and his brothers, Dan, Charles Jr. and David Six.

A memorial will take place at noon Saturday, Nov. 15, at A Chapel on Swans Trail in Snohomish, Wash. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry’s life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
