“Tom” passed away on July 23, 2019. His daughters were at his side when he passed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley. He is survived by his children Sandy, Lori, Gary, Pam and Shawn; his sister Lois Mathews; brother-in-law Bill Mathews; 10 grandkids; 13 great grandkids; and several nieces and nephews.

He was born in Seattle, Wash. He served in the Coast Guard and lived in California before returning to the PNW, where he and Shirley lived happily for the past several years. He loved living on Whidbey Island. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
