William (Bill) Curtis passed away Jan. 25, 2019.He was born on May 24 in Syracuse, N.Y. and grew up in Los Angeles, Calif. He was a man of many talents. He graduated from Whittier College.

He was an Air Force veteran, then taught elementary school. He then decided to work in landscaping here on Whidbey Island.

Being a bachelor, Bill Curtis loved his cats and was a friend to many. He attended Trinity Lutheran for nearly 30 years.

He will be missed by all. He was laid to rest at Trinity Lutheran on March 10, 2019.

He is survived by his brother Don Curtis and wife Noel, two nieces Sharon Warwick, Stephanie Whetsell, and one nephew Steven John Curtis.
