Yvonne Hall passed away on October 2 due to complications from heart disease. She is survived by her daughter Belinda, son-in-law Christopher, granddaughter Sofia, mother Eloisa, five siblings: William, Kathy, RoseMarie, Patricia and Irene, and a large extended family.

Yvonne was born in San Antonio, Texas to William and Eloisa Murphy on September 3, 1956. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and joined job core to become a nursing assistant which is where she met Steven Hall, who she eventually married in 1977. They welcomed their daughter, Belinda Hall, in 1979 while traveling abroad with the military. In 1986, she moved to Whidbey Island to be closer to the Hall family. Her love of Whidbey Island brought most of her family from Texas to Whidbey and Washington State over the last 20 years.

Yvonne was always a pet lover. Her pets were like her children, but her greatest joy was becoming a grandmother to Sofia in 2006.

Over the last 30 years Yvonne held several jobs around South Whidbey, but the most meaningful to her were at the El Corral Restaurant, Langley Chamber of Commerce and Sebo’s Hardware where she made many friends in the community.

She was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Saint Hubert Catholic Church on Thursday, October 13th at 6pm.
