Bailey, Smith - They ‘just get it’ | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

We have two forward-thinking, dedicated state representatives who seem to “just get it.” “It” being what we, their constituents, are thinking and experiencing on a daily basis.

I have been to several events where Representatives Barbara Bailey and Norma Smith were either the speaker or a participant; and, at all the events, I felt I could speak with them personally about my concerns. During these events both listened, answered questions as long as there were questions being asked, and offered their insight and ideas needed for practical and sound solutions.

“We can’t tax our way out of our problems” is a statement made by Rep. Bailey recently and is just one of the reasons why she is my choice on Nov. 2.

Please take the time “to get with it” yourself and choose these two tireless representatives who truly know what it means to serve the people who elected them. Both of these women have earned our trust, which is exactly what we all need in these uncertain times.
