To the editor:

The Whidbey Island Share a Home board and director would like to take this opportunity to thank all the individuals who helped to make WISH AID 3 a success. Whidbey Island Band, Whidbey Telecom and Whidbey Coffee all generously made significant contributions to lessen the cause of homelessness in our community.

The Universalist Unitarian Congregation graciously provided the beautiful venue for our event and Cranberry Bog, Bayview Sound, The Dandelion Family Band, Days of Yore, Stinging Nettles and Janie and Joe performed to the delight of many of our island neighbors.

Great food was provided by Tailgate BBQ who donated a large percentage of their sales to WISH at the end of the day.

WISH serves all of Whidbey Island helping those in need find safe, affordable housing.

Last year WISH helped almost 90 individuals find homes. For more information about WISH or if you need help, our website is www.whidbeywish.org.
