Langley Police chief goes above and beyond | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:
We wished we had a camera last Sunday! We could have snapped a picture of the Langley chief of police, up on our roof, helping us get rid of the moss and checking the roof for problems.
The chief found out that we needed help because, as is true of so many of us, we have gotten old and Gerry can not do those things any more, so Sunday morning there was a knock on our door; the chief was there.
He put up his ladder and did a terrific job. Then he saw something else that needed fixing so he and his wife stayed and did a lot for us.
Langley is so fortunate to have this awesome chief. Where else could you find some one who keeps the order in the city and, at the same time, is a good Samaritan?
We are so thankful to have such a caring police chief.
Thank you, Chief Heston.
