To the editor:

As when she first joined Whidbey General Hospital’s board of commissioners I have hope with Grethe Cammermeyer’s election to a new term. Of all the commissioners, she has the sharpest nose for sniffing out bunk and often is the only one asking pointed questions.

Unfortunately her actions often stop at that point and she goes silent joining the group overseeing the erratic and potentially fatal direction in which the hospital is being driven.

Grethe, you can do better and your constituents ask that you give all your skills and good judgments to redirecting WGH to a course that again makes it a respected and viable community institution.
