Christmas cheer is stolen | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

December 18, 2011 · 10:23 AM

To the editor:

On Tuesday, I went to the Freeland Post Office to mail a box of Christmas cards.

I left a second box of yet-unwritten cards and $26 in newly-purchased holiday stamps on a counter and went to ask a clerk a question about the postage on a card going to New Zealand.

After waiting in line, I returned to find that someone had stolen my box of 20 cards and stamps!

To whomever filched my stamps and cards, may shame be your Christmas present!
