LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Don’t overlook voter ID card

May 11, 2012 · Updated 3:03 PM

To the editor:

Last week I almost tossed out my new voter I.D. card which had been sent out by the Island County Auditor’s office. Even though I vaguely remember reading something about the mailing, I was not prepared for this unobtrusive bit of paper among my piles of junk mail.

So if you haven’t received your new voter I.D. card from Island County, please do check among your discarded junk mail, or call the auditor’s office at 360-679-7367 for a duplicate.
