LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Price Johnson stands tall

July 27, 2012 · Updated 3:39 PM

To the editor:

I’ve known Helen Price Johnson for the past five years. In that time, she has shown herself to be a tireless advocate for her constituents, while diligently listening to all sides before making decisions that would affect our community.

In the nearly four years that Helen has been Island County commissioner, she has shown boundless energy for her constituents while having to deal with these very difficult times in which there has been the need to make budget and personnel cuts. You can never please all the people when you have to tackle those hard actions, but Helen has made the tough decisions and taken responsibility for her actions. She has a record to be proud of and I hope that the people will return her to office for another four years.
