LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Thought of cell tower is devastating

November 13, 2012 · Updated 1:53 PM

To the editor:

I came to South Whidbey to my daughter’s lovely home to recuperate from a serious heart condition. One of my favorite spots is her wonderful deck. The quiet allows me to listen to the variety of birds. I can even hear a chicken cackle proudly.

The thought that a cell tower behind their home would destroy that lovely quiet for this entire neighborhood not counting the loss of property value due to an ugly, noisy tower is devastating.
