LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Leaving center but still here

To the editor:

To every student for the past 17 years, to every director from Mike McIntyre to Cheryn Weiser, and especially to Margaret Scehovic and Connie McCalmont, to the wonderful folks in the kitchen, the amazing volunteers, and to each person with whom I’ve had the honor of working at the Bayview Senior Center, a big thank you!

BCCt’g (Bookkeeping, Consulting, Computer Training), and Bobbi Sandberg are changing venues! After nearly two decades, it’s time for a change! I can only thank each person with whom I’ve had the honor of working! I appreciate their friendship, support and care. From the days when we carried the computers into the center, set them up, and put them back into the truck through today, there has not been a moment when laughter and good will have not prevailed.

While I’m leaving the Senior Center, I will still be teaching classes on South Whidbey. Watch Drewslist, the MarketPlace and, of course, the South Whidbey Record for new classes in 2013! Until then, I wish each of you the best of our holiday season and again, thank you.

Bobbi Sandberg
