LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Emerson can pay taxes on beach
January 11, 2013 · Updated 2:59 PM
To the editor:
According to the Record the gift of Frank Robinson’s beach property to the county will cost the county $6,000 to $7,000 in lost property taxes.
I have a solution. If Commissioner Emerson would only pay her fine of $37,000 these taxes would be paid for five-plus years. That’s a start!
