LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Writer really wasn’t kidding

February 22, 2013 · Updated 7:19 PM

To the editor:

Regarding the Feb. 16 letter, “Kwarsick set a fine standard,” when I first saw this heading, I thought the author was kidding. Then I read the whole letter. He wasn’t kidding.

Talk about turning a blind eye and holding your nose. Kwarsick pleaded guilty Dec. 17, 2012 to “... false report by a public officer.”

He was sentenced to 15 days in jail, etc., etc.

Is that the “fine standard” that impresses this author? Apparently so. While Mr. Soli plans to “..look forward to working with him in the future,” I won’t be joining him. When I see and smell a skunk I move as far away as possible.
