LETTERS TO THE EDITOR | Voters’ school support appreciated

February 26, 2013 · Updated 3:12 PM

To the editor:

The South Whidbey School District would like to thank all of the community members who supported the school levies. We are grateful for the community’s overwhelming support of our schools.

The passage of the school levies will allow us to begin work on, among other things, providing our students with a safe, upgraded space in which to learn.

We will keep you updated on our progress and will honor your commitment to us by continuing to improve our school district.

Our deepest appreciation goes out to everyone who supported our students; who are, after all, the future of this community. Thank you to all!

Jo Moccia, Superintendent

Board Members: Steve Scoles, Linda Racicot, Jill Engstrom, Fred O’Neal and Damian Greene
