LETTER TO THE EDITOR: : Try to envision Middle East peace

To the editor:

Fran, thank you for your article. I certainly support the goals of Gush Shalom.

My cousin’s daughter, Rachel Corrie, was an advocate for the Palestinian people in Gaza and died defending the home of a family from destruction by an Israeli military bulldozer (American made – Caterpillar).

While Craig, my cousin, and Rachel’s mother, Cindy have been stricken with grief, they have tried to turn it in positive directions. They have visited both Israel and Palestine a number of times and have developed friendships and working relationships with both Israeli and Palestinian supporters of peace and conciliation.

Yes, let us try to envision peace for all who have suffered.
