To the editor:

As a part-time resident on South Whidbey Island, I look forward to the adventures that this beautiful spot offers. I never get tired of revisiting my favorite shops and restaurants and exploring new ones.

I had an incredible experience last night and wanted to share it with others. If you haven’t visited the Beachfire Grill at Holmes Harbor Golf & Beach Club, be sure to check it out.

I had enjoyed a tasty lunch at the Beachfire with my family recently and noticed the restaurant’s bright and welcoming sideroom. I was looking for a place to entertain my Whidbey Island Arbonne customers while they sampled products and shopped. It’s not always easy to find a location to have a group event and combine it with great food and atmosphere, but I found just what I needed at the Beachfire Grill.

The owner, Tim Criswell suggested a selection of appetizers and their amazing chef, Joe Ricks made it happen. Joe’s bite-size crab cakes were to die for! Top- notch service completed the experience.

South Whidbey can be proud of this delightful restaurant. I will be back and I will tell others.
