To the editor:

We have a leash law, but over the past three months, two unleashed dogs have mauled one and murdered three chickens in my yard.

It is a shame that my henny pennies cannot have two hours a day in my yard to roam and stretch their wings without being mauled/maimed and murdered by loose dogs.

If pet owners do not want to take responsibility for their pets, they should NOT own one.

Pet owners, make sure your pet is NOT running up and down and all around Saratoga in Langley, unleashed and/or unsupervised.
