To the editor:

I would like to ask some questions about the Glendale disaster. Since this happened, once in 1996, and the culvert ran clear till 2009, what made the difference? If the beavers were not there during those years, then why is it the county’s fault?

I went to some meetings many years ago that had a group of people wanting to “save the beavers.” Did the group bring the beavers back to the creek? If so, did the county support this group?

If the taxpayers end up paying the tab for this, how is the county going to keep this from happening again?
