If Boeing does decide to relocate its production facilities to South Carolina, or to any other state, the production workers will have only themselves to blame. They effectively killed the goose that was laying the golden eggs, when they demanded an excessive pay increase last December.

They should have known the perilous financial condition the country was in and should have realized that their greedy demands would contribute to the national recession, to a delay in production and to loss of orders for Boeing.

A move out of state would obviously have a serious impact on the local economy, but I have no sympathy for the workers who contributed to this situation.
