LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Slinden served us well
August 25, 2009 · Updated 4:04 PM
To the editor:
Thank you, Lynae Slinden, for your many years of selfless service to the people of South Whidbey as our port commissioner. As your personal friend, I can testify to the hours and hours you have devoted, outside of public meetings, to the economic, cultural and environmental interests of our community, with no thought of personal gain or glory.
We owe you our gratitude, and wish you the very best in what life has in store for you.
