To the editor:

Replacing a distinctive, one-of-a-kind community landmark with essentially a “McSign,” gosh, how could anyone complain about that?

It’s quite obviously a much needed, almost scandalously overdue civic improvement, don’t you agree? And, especially in this vibrantly rich economy, moving a big sign around represents a really prudent use of public funds, too.
