To the editor:
On behalf of the Langley Middle School PTSA, we would like to thank the following businesses for sponsoring our first annual 5k Elf Chase run/walk that was held Dec. 6.
This fundraising event went to help with our teacher grant program: Thanks to Red Rooster Antique Mall, Celtic Viking, Linds, Pier Java, JW Desserts, IAC, Honeymoon Bay Coffee, Rich’s, Thatcher & Morrison, Bothell Yoga & Wellness, Whidbey Telecom, 1st Island Financial Corp., Saratoga Dental, Coldwell Banker/Tara Property, Joe’s Island Music, Kiichli’s Bagels, Hanson, Heggeness Construction, Family Care & Fitness, Clyde Theatre, Arbonne, Rob Rorex Chiropractic, DCG Incorp., Matt’s Import, Boatyard Inn and Pickles.
Thank you so much for the sponsorships, and I would like to thank South Whidbey Parks & Recreation for help with some icing problems. Thanks to all the runners and walkers who came and braved the weather. Mark the date for Dec. 5, 2010.
And a special thanks to Pamela Jaques for the wonderful design for our T-shirts. Call me if you participated and did not receive an Elf Chase T-shirt at henriot@whidbey.com.
