South Whidbey High School did not travel to compete in the Forks Tournament last weekend. The snow during the week of Thanksgiving cancelled school and after-school activities and did not give the wrestlers the mandatory minimum of 10 practices before a match.
Coach Jim Thompson chose to forgo make-up two-a-day practices to keep his team healthy and well-rested before today’s Port Townsend Tournament.
