Crabs lose close ones to Ravens

The Whidbey Crabs lost a double header to the Terrace Ravens, 6-4 and 6-5 on Sunday.
The Ravens had a big lead early in the first game. The Crabs came back to make it a close game before losing 6-4. Ricky Muzzy hit 3-for-4 in the opening game and pitched the final two innings.
In the second game, the roles reversed when the Crabs took an early lead and held it until the seventh inning. Then the Ravens scored three runs to tie the score at 5-5.
The game went nine innings when the Ravens squeezed out a run in their half to pick up the win.
Trent Fallon continued his torrid hitting for the Crabs with help at the plate from Parker Collins, Houston Schmutz, Mo Hamsa and Kohl Hunter. Houston Schmutz and Peter Jacobs pitched well for the Crabs.
The Crabs travel to Mountlake Terrace for a 5:30 p.m. game today. Then they host the Terrace Warriors in a double header on Sunday,
April 17. The Crabs are 2-3.
