The Whidbey Crabs beat the Terrace Warriors 10-0 to advance to the Mountlake Terrace Youth Athletic Association league championship game on the evening of Tuesday, June 14.

Brent Piehler was the winning pitcher before Peter Jacobs closed the final frame to preserve the shutout. Mo Hamsa led the Crabs 3-for-3 in at-bats. Jacobs and Houston Schmutz added two hits each.

The Crabs are 20-6 for the season.

They finish the season off next weekend at home against the Terrace Thunder in a doubleheader.

The Crabs won their first game in the MTYAA tournament on June 9 beating the Terrace Rangers 11-4.
