South Whidbey has more soccer champions. The South Whidbey girls U-10 soccer team, the Green Hornets, are champions of Soccerfest in Oak Harbor.

Through the season they were 5-1-1 (wins, draws, losses). At the Soccerfest tournament they won three in a row to stay in the winners bracket and win the league championship.

Flannery Friedman and Lila McCleary were the goalies for the Green Hornets during Soccerfest. McCleary, Kaitlyn Jonnson, Karyna Hezel, Farris Jokinen, Lily Timms and Ashley Rickets all scored goals during the season.
