Holmes Harbor hosts gun handling class

The Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club is holding a one-time firearm safety, storage and use class from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17.

Everyone is invited to the session covering most gun types, their functions, safe use and storage.

Pros and cons of each type will be discussed. Questions will be answered by Barney Mills, a Washington state hunter education instructor, and club range master and firearms business owner Michael McInerney.

There is no charge for this event and all ages are welcome. No registration is required. This is a show-and-tell only, with no live fire.

Attendees may bring their own guns for specific instruction. No live ammunition will be allowed.
