Jean Rickerson, a concussion researcher, will discuss her work on head injuries at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 26, in room 107 at South Whidbey High School.

This program, sponsored by the South Whidbey High School athletic department, is open to all and is specific for those who work with young athletes of all ages.

The program will last about 45 minutes plus time for questions.

Rickerson is the CEO and founder of Sports Concussions.org, a non-profit concussion education organization. In November she received the American Red Cross Real Hero award for her work raising concussion awareness.
