Adventure Swim hits Langley’s waters soon

The second annual Whidbey Adventure Swim will make a splash near Langley soon. The race just off the shores of Langley begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.

Hosted by the South Whidbey Masters Swim Team, the 1.2- and 2.4-mile races are still open to registration for the triangular course in Saratoga Passage.

Organizers suggest spectators watch from Seawall Park and First Street in Langley, as the race may be seen from those views. Volunteers are needed.
