Jeff VanDerford / The Record
Each season, The Record talks teamwork with South Whidbey athletes. This week it’s with Falcons Jon Poolman and Hisashi Sanda. Poolman, about Sanda: “He’s quite a runner, making an impact on the league and forcing all of us to run harder. And I hear he’s also a very good cook.” Sanda, about Poolman: “Jon is very fast at 30 meters and I work to keep up. He’s kind of a tricky fellow, too.”
