Four Falcon athletes receive honors

Four South Whidbey High School athletes will be recognized tonight by the South Whidbey School Board.

Falcon fall sport athletes Meagan Longdon, Nick French, Cole Zink and Lillianna Stelling are slated to be honored at the 7 p.m. business meeting. Longdon, a junior volleyball player, was voted to the first team all-Cascade Conference team as a setter. French, a junior, was voted to the first team defense for football as a defensive back. Zink and Stelling automatically qualified for all-league honors based on their placing at the Cascade Conference cross country championship meet.

The Langley Middle School cross country teams will also be honored for winning the Cascade League championship.
