Lady Knights reign over Falcon girls basketball

The King’s girls basketball team established its foothold atop the Cascade Conference 1A pecking order. The Lady Knights powered past the Falcons, 61-28, on Friday in Shoreline.

Falcon senior Hayley Newman led all scorers with 15 points. The loss ended South Whidbey’s three-game winning streak.

South Whidbey dropped to 0-1 in Cascade Conference games and 3-2 overall.
