Falcons end season with loss to Tigers

The South Whidbey baseball team fell 3-2 in seven innings to Burlington-Edison Tuesday at the District One baseball tournament at Volunteer Park in Anacortes.

The Falcons ended their season 4-14 in the Cascade Conference, 6-16 overall.

On the adjoining field, Lakewood — which beat South Whidbey 6-5 on Monday — lost 9-3 to Archbishop Murphy, but both teams will continue their quest for a state berth on Saturday.
