Red Wolves pick apart Falcon girls basketball

Suffering one of its worst defeats of the season, the South Whidbey girls basketball team lost 76-27 to Cedarcrest.

On the road, South Whidbey (3-6 Cascade Conference; 5-10 overall) struggled against Cedarcrest’s tall players and press defense Tuesday. Three Red Wolves accounted for 60 points, while the Falcons’ leading scorer on the season, Hayley Newman, was held in check with two points. Falcon senior Ellie Greene led her team with 14 points.
