South Whidbey Little League season starts soon

South Whidbey Little League try outs return later this month.

Minors, boys ages 8-10, try out from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at the fields at South Whidbey Community Park. The girls review will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Majors, boys ages 11-12, try out from 3 to 5 p.m.

To participate, the league requires completed forms for player registration, medical release, parent code of conduct, concussion acknowledgement and a copy of birth certificate, as well as payment. The season fee costs $100, but a single family’s fee cap is $250.
