Work out at Bayview Hall, support Oso slide survivors

South Whidbey residents can Zumba their support for Oso landslide victims at a two-hour event in Bayview this weekend.

The Pacific Northwest Zumba instructor family has come together to help Oso residents by raising money for the Disaster Relief Fund by holding fundraising events.

On Whidbey, Zumbathon begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the Bayview Community Hall, 5642 Bayview Road, Langley.

All participating board members and Zumba instructors are volunteers. Also, 100 percent of the funds collected will go to aiding Oso residents affected by the landslide.

The Disaster Relief Fund was created by Cascade Valley Hospital Health Foundation, a non-profit organization.

The two-hour event in Bayview includes Zumba and raffle prizes. Cost is $15 donation. Participation isn’t necessary to donate.
