3 Falcons pick up all-league honors / Boys golf

Three members of the South Whidbey High School boys golf team earned all-Cascade Conference honors at the league medalist tournament Monday, May 7, at the Snohomish Golf Club.

Ryan Wenzek shot a 13-over 85, good for fourth overall and a spot on the all-conference first team.

Gabe Jacobson-Ross was eighth with an 89 and Brent DeWolf was 12th with a 93; both received second-team, all-league honors.

Soren Bratrude (100), Dane Saxon (111) and Noah Ratcliff (114) also competed for the Falcons.

South Whidbey will play in the 1A sub-district tournament Thursday, May 10, at the North Bellngham Golf Course.
