Falcon girls sweep Sultan in soccer

The South Whidbey soccer team trounced Sultan 6-0 on Tuesday, thanks to a total team effort.

Lindsey Grimm scored in the third minute (Jessica Manca assisted), Anna Lennon scored in the 14th minute (Courtney Fredrickson assist), Laura Barrow scored in the 30th minute (Manca assist), Megan Larmore scored in the 35th minute (Manca assist) and Manca scored in the 38th (with Barrow assisting) and again in the 60th minute. Natasha Kamps was in goal for the Falcons.

“This was an excellent win for these girls, who showed what they are capable of achieving on the soccer field,” said Falcon coach Paul Arand.

South Whidbey improved to 3-7 in the league and 4-8 overall with the Cascade Conference win.
